How do you use SDBcheck®?
I mainly use SDBcheck® as an import tool for raw material SDS as a premix in GeSi³. We are a construction chemicals company that supplies innovative and customer-specific products to the concrete industry. Thanks to our customer-specific development work, we have a broad product portfolio. We create a safety data sheet for each new product. Our GeSi³ database currently contains over 350 SDSs.
How does SDBcheck® change your workflow?
Many of our products are formulations of available raw materials. It helps enormously not to have to create these manually as substances, including labeling etc., but to be able to import them as premixes. This saves us valuable working time and makes it easier to create formulations and calculate the labeling of our products.
What tips do you have for new SDBcheck® users?
My tip is clear: use SDBcheck® in combination with GeSi³, the External Components module and the ECHA connector. This will significantly speed up and simplify the creation of complex SDSs.
