I use SDBcheck® as a legal safeguard in the event that the manufacturer’s SDS is not plausible.
How do you use SDBcheck®?
I create SDSs for emulsion paints. That’s why I work with external components in GeSi3, whose SDSs I check using SDBcheck®. In total, I have now had just over 100 SDS checked there. I have already double-checked some premixes, as there were new SDSs in the meantime. How plausible the SDSs are depends very much on the manufacturer. The legibility of the SDS also depends on the supplier.
What tips do you have for new SDBcheck® users?
The manufacturers’ SDSs are compatible with the system in different ways. With some, everything is transferred perfectly, with others not. If you have found that everything fits with one supplier, you don’t have to check other SDSs quite as thoroughly. This saves you time.
