How do you use SDBcheck®?
I use SDBcheck® to read in safety data sheets in GeSi3. I automatically read in the classification, labeling elements, ingredients, data for the BANW, WGK and storage class and some phs-chem data.
How does SDBcheck® change your workflow?
We have been using GeSi3 for about a year. We have around 2400 data records in the GeSi3 software, some of which still need to be updated. I work with GeSi3 every day. Part of my job is to check the SDS for plausibility with the help of SDBcheck® and to transfer the most important parts of the SDS to GeSi3. This saves a lot of work.
What benefits do you experience from using SDBcheck®?
I wouldn’t want to give SDBcheck® up, even if I sometimes have difficulties. It makes data transfer easier and saves me a lot of time. In the beginning, when SDBcheck® was not yet available, it took me about an hour to enter all the data manually in GeSi3 for an SDS. Today, it takes just a few minutes with SDBcheck®.
What tips do you have for new SDBcheck® users?
Before the plausibility check, briefly check whether the data from the SDS has actually been transferred correctly. This saves time.
